World Cup, Women, and Toy Story 3

RAW:
RAW was okay but nothing like two weeks ago. Last week's show was a letdown after the brilliant original NXT angle. Now Sheamus is the champion and John Cena is against him with Vince as the referee. Yeah, this reeks of a sneak attack a mile away. Jericho beat Bourne in one of the best RAW matches all year. DiBiase and Maryse seem to be an interesting pairing. It'll be like Sherri when she was with Ted Dibiase Sr. The NXT World Order then did a blah intereview until Wade Barrett and his excellent verbal skills saved the day. Then came a half hour of crap followed by Edge ruining a good Orton/Miz segment. Edge is so overrated that it's not even funny. John Cena and Sheamus fought to a no contest and the NXT World Order beat up Cena, chased away Sheamus, and then ended the show by jumping McMahon. I think the new GM is the group's mysterious leader.

NXT:
What the hell is up with the names on this show? The wrestling has been better than I expected but it lookes like a two horse race just like season one. Alex Riley and Kaval are clearly the two best on this show. I mean, seriously, who would want to see Eli Cottonwood face Husky Harris in a RAW main event? No one. Harris reminds me of Hugh Morris from the nineties. Mike McGillicutty is clearly number three but after that it's slim pickings because the rest can't wrestle worth a crap. The show was good this week but it'll suck IF they bring back the stupid, pointless American Gladiator challenges.

NBA Finals:
Lakers win in seven over the Celtics. Next year I want the LA Clippers or Golden State Warriors or Phoenix Suns or somebody from the West to get hot so it's not the Lakers again. Anybody but the Spurs though. In the East, the Celtics are done. They're too old, the Magic can't close, and it'll all depend on where Lebron goes.

Toy Story 3:
This is easily the best movie to come out all year. The story is about the toys accidentally ending up at Sunnyvale Day Care instead of the attic where Andy (no, not the same Andy from the Child's Play movies) after Andy's mom mistakes them for garbage. They end up there and it's easily the darkest, most disturbing animated movie in ages. There's backstories, plot twists, prison escapes, heel turns, and everything else you can imagine. Great overall movie, I highly recommend it.

The A-Team:
This movie was okay, The Losers was WAY better than this to be honest. Good action flick but nothing more. The action scenes are the best part of this naturally.

World Cup:
This World Cup has been awesome with all the controversies and upeets. My upset finals picks are Uruguay and Netherlands although Brazil and German are the most likely finals team. Argentina looks like a contender too. It's basically South America versus the World at this point. All of their teams are killing people. It'll end up South America vs. Europe by the time all is said and done.

Women:
Here's the whole problem with women in Vegas. They say that they are single yet have gone on multiple dates with the same guy or multiple guys. IF you have gone on more than three dates with a guy, you are DATING THAT PERSON! THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! YOU ARE NOT SINGLE! *ahem* In short, you're in a relationship and are not single, so quit saying that you are single when you really are not. You're as bad as the guys you claim are in the wrong. It's a two way street, ladies. You have to realize that without someone like me telling you this.

NXT World Order Rules All

RAW:
Last night RAW had the GREATEST ENDING IN THE MODERN ERA! My God, that was one of the greatest moments in wrestling history. In the middle of the CM Punk/John Cena main event, Wade Barrett shows up with a black armband with a yellow N logo on it. Then out come the rest of the NXT Season One Rookies and they beat the shit out of anybody and everybody that was at ringside. The first victims were the Straight Edge Society. Then they entered the ring and at first it looked like Cena may be the leader but then they beat the crap out of John Cena. After this they attacked every announcer, producer, security guy, etc. at ringside and destroyed the ring, the ringside area, the announce table, etc. This was by far one of the greatest moments I've ever witnessed on a wrestling program. This ending SAVED wrestling. Yes, I said it. Wrestling was almost at the point of stupidity and lameness that I almost was going to stop watching it. However Daniel Bryan's angle with the Miz/Michael Cole followed by this has SAVED THE WWE. TNA is officially dead to me at this point. These two connected storylines with WWE rookies no less cannot be topped by TNA. Nothing they do will ever be better than what I saw last night. That ending killed TNA because they will never top that. Tne NXT World Order is the greatest thing to happen in awhile. That angle saved wrestling. If they continue to do things like this on a weekly basis then there is hope after all. If not, then it'll continue to be the same lame ass crap that they've been putting on every week and continue to lose viewers. That sngle is how you make an impact and make people want to watch. This was great stuff. The NXT World Order is the best thing to happen to wrestling in ages and I hope the follow up is as good as the first appearance was. HOLY COW, if they top this then we'll have at least one good summer of an excellent wrestling storyline. Before this they had two good matches and an okay divas battle royal. The rest of the show was garbage. I hope that they continue to do things like with this and the Bryan/MizCole stuff because that's interesting, not a stupid, crappy Dance Competition or a Body Slam Challenge.

Splice:
This movie was okay. It started off great with deformed freak creatures and freaky looking monstrosities. The two scientists in this movie are stupid idiots and of course the movie slowly gets pointless and stupid as it goes along. There's even creature sex that could be considered to be beastiality in at least fifty countries and the District of Columbia.

Get Him to the Greek:
This movie was better than I expected it to be to be honest because I think that Russell Brand and Jonah Hill movies are stupid garbage. This may be the one exception to the rule. The movie was good but had some parts that I thought were stupid as hell. Other than those parts, this was a good movie about redemption.

RAW Warriors at the Belmont

RAW:
RAW didn't excite me too much (other than 3 segments of it) this week to be honest about it. Some parts I really liked, other parts I thought were pointless and stupid garbage. It started off with Edge beating up Evan Bourne which set up something really awesome later on.
-Then Ashton Kutcher came on to do some lame ass storyline with Zack Ryder to plug his movie, which most likely is going to be garbage just like almost every other movie he's ever done. He said he had a hit put out on Ryder. What pointless garbage.
-R. Truth got pushed in a win over Jericho. They need to overhaul him fast to make it go over.
-Santino and Eve beat Regal and Maryse in a very weird match but it was the best part of the show so far. Santino trying to get Kozlov to join up with him but saying that Eve would "have the sex" with him was hilarious and it ended up with Kozlov chokeslamming Regal and then leaving with Maryse, who went along with him for some reason. Very weird stuff.
-Ashton and Bret Hart announced viewer's choice for RAW next week before Vince McMahon came out and did an overacted, annoying speech that completely ruined the whole thing.
-Edge attacked Orton and injured him before Daniel Bryan beat the Miz in a good wrestling match that the crowd was into.
-The Usos and Tamina then came out to give a clearly scripted promo before the Hart Dynasty fought them but the Usos won the battle.
-Kutcher then had his "assassin" attack Ryder. First they swerved it with Lawler and Khali before Alicia Fox attacked him. What stupidity.
-Bourne and Cena beat Sheamus and Edge in a great match that put over Evan Bourne and was booked perfectly.

NXT:
Finals went as I predicted with Wade Barrett winning. Otunga was nowhere near this guy's league both in the match or on the mic. Next season's NXT looks awesome, especially with Pros Team LayCool with Kaval aka Low Ki. That will be great to watch right there.

NHL Playoffs:
Glad to see that this is a series now. Still want the Blackhawks to win in 7 games.

NBA Finals:
Lakers seem like they want it this year. Predicting Lakers in six just going by what I saw in game one.

World Cup 2010:
This is going to be good this year.

IRL/NASCAR:
Indy 500 was really good this year but it ended up being a three car race. Franchitti was the eventual winner. Same thing happened this week with Danica, Briscoe, and Will Power. Ryan Briscoe was the eventual winner. NASCAR was good with Kurt Busch winning it over Jamie McMurray, thus preventing Chip Ganassi Racing from winning both races last Saturday.

Belmont:
Good race with a surprise winner. I might start watching some more horse racing to go along with my other new favorite, Indycar racing.

The Warriors:
The Warriors is an awesome seventies movie about a gang called the Warriors, who have to fight their way back to Coney Island after a meeting of all the gangs in New York City in which Cyrus, leader of the Gramercy Riffs and the man who called the meeting is shot. One of the Warriors sees the shooter and then the shooter says "The Warriors did it!" The Riffs then put a bounty on the remaining Warriors and Swan, the new leader, leads the way. They then are confronted by the Orphans and scare them off with a Molotov cocktail, which impresses a woman named Mercy who joins with them. They then are split up after running into the police at the next train station. The Warriors then all make it back to the station after numerous encounters with police and gangs only to fight off the Punks gang in the bathroom. The Warriors then have a final showdown with the Rogues. This movie is really, really good. I liked it a lot.
