2010 is almost over...THANK GOD!
This year was the worst year of my life and I know I'm probably not the only one. Let me go over the list of things that have happened.
First I had to take Practicum 2 for a second time due to my first master teacher getting rid of me just because she didn't want a student teacher in there and then lied about what was going on. That really pissed me off to be honest. However the second time around things went MUCH smoother. It was a completely different environment and a teacher that actually knew what they were doing instead of just doing it to get a paycheck. It's very obvious which teachers are like that and which aren't going by how their classroom environments are. My student teaching classroom a few months later had almost the exact same set-up as the previous classroom and once again it was with a teacher who knew what they were doing, cared about the kids, and wasn't there just for a paycheck. Thank you Ms. Mohr and Mrs. Erickson for making things much easier than my previous experience which was a six week nightmare that ended with me being both lied to and lied about.
I graduated from college, specifically from UNLV, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. The only problem is that there are no teaching jobs in Nevada so basically I've been unemployed all year long. Still waiting to hear back from Sub Services and I'm stuck going back to UNLV to either get my Masters or get a degree in Special Education. Once I get a degree in Special Ed, then I should be in good shape...in 2012 if the world doesn't end! In the bad news department my lizard Lizzy died and I've had her since high school which makes her somewhere between 11-13 years of age including the few months before I got her. Also my favorite band Isis broke up, my bank account is basically empty, and everything is going wrong. Can't wait for 2011.
For this blog I'm going to do a little year in review for Sports and tomorrow do one for Everything Else.
Wrestling:
Wrestling wasn't too exciting this year outside of wrestlers leaving WWE and going to TNA or going to ROH/Independents and vice versa.
Top Ten Wrestlers:
10. Alberto Del Rio - This guy is going to be a star. His promo work is spectacular and I haven't seen a bad match from him yet. This guy is going to be a heavy hitter in 2011 if 2010 is any indication.
9. Dolph Ziggler - When he was paired with Vickie Guerrero, it was gold. Between his arrogant demeanor and Vickie's nuclear heat, they have to be the most hated duo in the WWE. Ziggler always has good matches and has also had an excellent Intercontinental Title run this year as well.
8. Wade Barrett - This guy came out of nowhere to become a major star. I hadn't even heard of this guy before NXT Season One. Him and his goons attacked John Cena in the best moment on TV wrestling in ages and then kept control of the Nexus until the last week.
7. Daniel Bryan - The man, the myth, the future legend. Since NXT Season One and his return, he's been on a tear. Never has a bad match, has a good "nerd who doesn't realize he's hot to women" gimmick going, won the US Title, and one of the most over wrestlers in the company. Good year overall for him.
6. CM Punk - Even with his injury this guy had a great year. Led the Straight Edge Society and now is in charge of the Nexus. Always great on promos and in the ring, this guy is the best promo guy in the business right now. look forward to see where he goes in 2011.
5. Kane - Kane had a good second half of 2010, winning the World Title and holding onto it for four months. His promo deliveries have greatly improved this year and he's not too bad in the ring either. He'd probably be ranked higher if it wasn't for that horrible feud with Edge at the end of the year.
4. Randy Orton - Started off slow but got hot the second half of the year. Won another World Championship and has feuded his his former Legacy partners, Sheamus, Nexus, and now The Miz.
3. The Miz - His rise to power, in my opinion, started when he was a Pro on NXT Season One and got into a feud with Daniel Bryan. The fight these two had was great. Then he won the US Title, the Money in the Bank, and won the WWE Championship after cashing it in. Pretty good year for him.
2. John Cena - His year had ups and downs but he did win two World Championships, won the WWE Unified Tag Team Championship, was the victim of the best moment of the year, was fired only to come back, feuded with the Nexus and Batista, and had to join the Nexus. Wish he'd cut out the Superman act though.
1. Sheamus - I guess him winning the World Title as a rookie wasn't a fluke. Had a very good year in my eyes. Won a second World Title, knocked Trips out of WWE (for the time being), was a dominant force in the summertime, and won the King of the Ring tournament.
Top 5 Matches:
5. Sheamus vs. Triple-H (WM 26) - I guess I'm biased because I saw it live but this was a really fun match from start to finish.
4. Edge vs. Chris Jericho (WM 26) - Much better than I was expecting it to be. This was a very good match both on TV and to see live.
3. Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler - Any match on TV or PPV between these two can count for this.
2. CM Punk vs. John Cena (RAW) - This was the Nexus debut match. Due to how brilliantly done the ending was, that got this such a high ranking.
1. Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker (WM 26) - Saw this match live and it was awesome to see.
Note: I have heard that Sheamus vs. John Morrison at TLC was really good but I haven't seen it.
Top 5 Segments:
5. John Cena Joins the Nexus - The forced promo given by Cena and then Wade Barrett making him put on the Nexus armband was great.
4. CM Punk sings Happy Birthday to Rey Mysterio's Daughter - What a great segment this was. Instant heat creator.
3. Shawn Michaels Retirement Speech - This one was great. I saw his last match so it was particularly meaningful to me.
2. Santino/Sheamus/Kozlov Tea Party - I believe that this one segment single handedly won Santino/Kozlov the Tag Titles and Sheamus the King of the Ring. Good stuff.
1. Nexus Attack Angle - No contest, best ending to a show in years.
Best Wrestling Organizations:
1. WWE
2. ROH
3. CHIKARA
4. DragonGateUSA
5. PWG
6. TNA
Yes, I rated TNA that low. I can barely get through twenty minutes of their shows without changing the channel.
Sports:
Now to cover the best in the rest of the sports world.
Best Teams -
1. New Orleans Saints (NFL)
2. Los Angeles Lakers (NBA)
3. San Francisco Giants (MLB)
4. Chicago Blackhawks (NHL)
5. Indianapolis Colts (NFL)
6. Texas Rangers (MLB)
7. Boston Celtics (NBA)
8. All Olympic Teams (Winter Games 2010)
9. New England Patriots (NFL)
10. Connecticut Huskies (NCAA Womens Basketball)
Best Athletes -
1. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints)
2. Tim Lincecum (San Francisco Giants)
3. Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers)
4. Michael Vick (Philadelphia Eagles)
5. Tom Brady (New England Patriots)
6. Cam Newton (Auburn Tigers)
7. Apolo Anton Ohno (US Olympic Team)
8. Rafael Nadal (Tennis)
9. Josh Hamilton (Texas Rangers)
10. Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons)
Music:
Worst Artists -
BY FAR the two worst musical artists of the year are Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj. The five worst songs all year that I've heard have been by these two women. Whomever decided to let them record albums let alone get on the radio. what horrible garbage.
Best Artists -
Nothing comes to mind.
Movies:
Okay, going to end this with my top ten movies of the year 2010.
10. Iron Man 2 - Not as good as the first one but good enough to just barely crack the top ten.
9. Machete - An old school action movie that has some very interesting plot points and characters in it.
8. Predators - Another old school style action movie. There's explosions, two types of Predators, and lots of chaos. In other words, it's my type of movie.
7. Shutter Island - Leonardo DiCaprio started off this year with this excellent film. Good movie but honestly could've been better.
6. The Other Guys - A good old fashionned buddy cop movie. One of the better action movies to come out this year and easily the best comedy movie of 2010.
5. True Grit - Good western that I highly recommend. Also think Jeff Bridges will get an Oscar nomination for this movie.
4. The Expendables - Great old school action movie. I love movies like this were they just blow stuff uo and shoot guns for two hours.
3. Toy Story 3 - This was far better than I was expecting. It was easily the best animated movie that I've seen in ages. Pixar is on fire as far as making movies goes.
2. Inception - The effects on this were awesome. The acting and story were all very good too. Very good movie.
1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Part 1 - This movie ruled all. Good acting, good story, realistic special effects, and just an overall good experience to watch.
That said, Happy New Year everybody!

Jimmy McMillan Rules
Jimmy McMillan:
"As a karate expert, I fear no man." He said that to start off his interview on December 23rd.
I must say that this guy is the most interesting political candidate of all time. I mean, everything this guy does just amuses and interests me at the same time. The latest is his comments about the 2012 Presidential Election. If you haven't seen it, check out this article from the Huffington Post about it.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/23/jimmy-mcmillan-rent-damn-high-president_n_800898.html
Ok, here's the jist of it. He's coming for "Obama's black ass" in 2012. I couldn't stop laughing when I heard that. FINALLY a politician that tells it like is, politically correct or not. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED! Sure the guy is a bit eccentric but I like what he has to say. He also correctly pointed out that global warming is a natural occurence that comes around every fifteen thousand years. I have the feeling that the movie Day After Tomorrow, a movie that was viewed to be preposterous when it came out, is the closest thing to go by as far as global warming and climate change goes. I think there's going to be a major climate shift which is going to affect the climate worldwide. The only difference being that it's going to take place over time. It's already started. Snow in the south, temperatures being the lowest and highest they've ever been in many places, changing weather patterns, and bigger natural disaster. Also noticed an increase in earthquakes all over the world. It's a sign, people. It's only going to go downhill after 2010. It's even noticeable here in Vegas where there's been colder winters, more rain, rising summer temperatures, and we've had more snow in the last five years in the city than I remember there being in the previous twenty years.
Rant over, back to Jimmy talk. This guy is interesting as hell. He was an R&B artist, he is a Vietnam veteran, and is a registered Republican now so he can run against Obama in 2012. He wears black gloves, has the best moustache of all time, and is the leader of the Rent is Too Damn High Party. His comments during a debate 2010 New York Gubernatorial Debate made him a media star. This guy basically told is like it is and ended it by saying "The Rent is Too Damn High!" Quite the character to say the least. As for his political positions, he's against the bailouts, believes that global warming is a natural occurence, is for gay marriage, is for cutting taxes, cutting rent prices, is for commuter tax credits, is for free college tuition, and is against spending cuts for education and for the elderly. Just watch the video in that Huffington Post article from Revolution Radio. It's worth it, trust me. He tells it like it is, especially about how people have continued to vote in idiots to government positions. Good stuff overall. Can't wait to see what he says next.
Immigration:
A few blogs ago I was talking about the 14th Amendment. Well this is the third thing on my list of twenty from a previous blog that is going to be addressed. I said Obama was a phony and this whole issue is a prime example of why I said that. More people have been deported this year than in any year under Bush and he said he was for giving them a pathway to citizenship. Something doesn't seem right there. I do agree with what the Republicans want to do in regards to this issue. There is no way that two people who aren't citizens can have a baby in a foreign country and have that baby be a citizen of that country and not their country of origin. Doesn't make sense. Anyway, here's an article about it.
Here's an article on the issue -

Sarah Palin:
This is the last subject of the blog for today. Going to do a year end blog in a few days which will be my last until 2011 unless I decide something else is worth ranting about. Now I've been watching "Sarah Palin's Alaska" and I think the show is getting a bad rap from the liberals in my party. I'm sorry if some Democrats can't put aside the politics and watch a show about a politician from the other party without bitching about it. I can but apparently a lot of them can't. Three times now I've gotten spammed hate tweets on my Twitter account about the show from me praising it. Well let me give you people a reality check. The things she said about the timber industry last week were true. That is a renewable resource and is an industry that has been in this country for years. However now there's all these psycho enviromental group nutcases out thre and ecological activists that have to protest everything. "Oh, we have to save the majestic soaring eagle from extinction." "We have to save the blue backed turtle and preserve land for it." Reality check. HUMANS are the reason all this stuff is happening, both liberals and democrats so don't be thinking it's just one party or the other. It's people all over the world in all countries that are helping to cause mass extinctions and make the environment even worse than it is now. So the moral of the story is it's not all Sarah Palin's fault.
This rant is in reference to the people who constantly berate her. Where's this sort of treatment for Obama? You realize that he's the President, not her, right? Here's the truth of the matter: the liberals control the media (except for Fox News, of course). I didn't believe it until here recently and I'm a registered Democrat. Think about it. The media has always tried to control how you think, feel, and act. Why do you think you have to go to the gym and be fit? Because the media told you to. Why do you think you have to dress a certain way? Media again. Everything you do is influenced by the media. I think it's sad that we even need shows like the Biggest Loser and Sixteen and Pregnant. What a disgrace this country has turned into. If you let yourself get that fat or get knocked up at that young of an age then you are contributing to the moral/overall decline of America.
Now back to Sarah after yet another rant. Sarah and her family seem like genuine, nice people. I talk to Bristol all the time on Twitter. She gets a bad rap just from Dancing with the Stars. Jesus people, it's just a show about dancing. DANCING! I'd honestly rather watch a documentary about what started World War II or a show about UFO's and Nostradamus than this Dancing with the Stars and American Idol crap. More garbage on the television as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, my point is that the people who have no lives and use their time to continually bash people online are a MAJOR part of the problem. I'm talking about the people who sent hate messages to anyone who doesn't agree with them. The Palins are good people, so are the Obamas. The thing that people need to realize is that we're all people, we just don't agree all the time.
Sarah gets a bad rap in my opinion. I like what she has to say and she made more sense than this Obama character did back in 2008. Obama came across to me like a guy willing to say what people wanted to hear just to get elected and fall back on his promises after being in office. The Obama Zombies on various forums berated me and anyone else who differed with their views on him as a candidate. Glad to see I was right about this guy. Hillary was a much better candidate than him and the excellent job she is doing as Secretary of State is proving that. Sarah Palin's show is showing everyone that she is exactly who she says she is and isn't being a phony about it. I like that, I like people who are real like her and Jimmy McMillan. So Sarah, kudos to you. And Bristol, I'll keep up the Twitter chatter with you.
That said, this blog is over.

Heel Heat Christmas Edition: The Decline of Power
Decline of Power:
The decline of political power and worldwide foreign policy has created an internal collpase within this country. The middle class and the poor are paying for all of the corruption on Wall Street and the partisan bickering in Washington. The infrastructure in this country is falling apart. Unemployment isn't going away either and won't be for a long time. George Bush said "Wall Street got drunk" and he was right. Their binge of profiteering and corruption is the core base of what has led to the slow destruction of America.
Add to it the fact that the housing market went down the toilet at the same time due to lax regulations much like the lax regulations that led to Wall Street collapsing. This whole country's been in a state of decay ever since 9/11. That event was the start of the downfall of this society. First there was 9/11, then two wars, then Hurricane Katrina, that was followed by the Recession, and now there's a second overhaul of Congress in the last two elections. First the Democrats took over and now the Republicans are starting to take over two years after Obama was elected President in a landslide.
The whole problem to me it seems like there's so many problems to fix that the country doesn't know what it wants as far as leadership goes. Once we have stability at the top of the government then everything else will fall into place after that. The key is getting things done instead of bickering along party lines. After that happens, the first thing that needs to get fixed is the infrastructure of this country. First we had Hurricane Katrina which caused New Orleans to go underwater due to the levees breaking. Then we had the bridge collapse in Minneapolis. We need to get these infrastructure issues solved before something else happens on the same scale as these two incidents. Then Congress needs to regulate both Wall Street and the Housing Market so that none of this mess happens again. And while all of this is going on, job creation needs to be a priority. Outsourcing is not the answer. America needs to have a technological and industrial revolution to get people back to work.
Another thing that needs to happen is that welfare, food stamps, and other free programs should only go to people and families who both are legally in this country with proper identification and pass a drug test. If you're on drugs then you need to get off of them to get in any of these programs. It's that simple. If you are not in this country legally, you don't get anything PERIOD, end of story. Hell, a lot of them are living better than I am right now and it's sad to see the American dream crumbling like this. I'm so sick of these people, mainly Liberals, who only want them to get all of this help only so that they vote for them. What a bunch of phonies. They just want more people to vote for their party since the whole country is going red.
I'm not surprised by that at all since Obama didn't listen to the people after he got elected even though he said he was listening to the people to get elected. How ironic. The idiots in my own party have left me seriously considering becoming a Republican or going Independent again like I was before. Hell, the only reason I joined was to vote for Hillary in the primary since she was EASILY the most qualified Democratic candidate. I knew this Obama was just another phony elected on false promises that would only bring "More of the same." I was right just like I predicted when it was me and the Republicans on several forums against the Obama Zombies. Whenever candidates promise Hope and Change, I never believe them. It never is true. The closest thing is JFK but that's about it. Hitler promised a lot of similar things in 1933 and look at how that turned out.
Another thing to worry about is Hugo Chavez giving himself more power in Venezuela. This kind of reminds me of how Hitler and Mussolini got more power. Check it out:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101224/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_venezuela_chavez_s_power
And here's one about the Belarus elections:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20101219/ts_afp/belarusvote_20101219215522
Fallout 3:
I fully recommend playing Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas if you can because I consider it to be a survival manual as to what it's going to be like after we finally blow ourselves up with bombs. These games are probably very similar to what it would be like in the aftermath of a nuclear war. Radioactive water, government goons living underground, mutated animals, bombed out buildings, craters, and basically survival of the fittest. It's like a nuclear bombed wild west. So my advice to everyone is, whenever World War 3 starts up, is to get water, food, and a survival guide because if it goes nuclear, you're going to be screwed if you aren't prepared. Also get some weapons because you'll need those for sure.
World War II, The Seeds of War with Walter Kronkite:
Watched this entire series on Youtube. Very fascinating stuff. It gives a lot of insight into what caused the war and a lot of things that happened in the early years of the war, most notably the Japanese invasion of China and what it led to. Check it out. Here's the link:

Also donate to Opportunity Village. They had to close their Magical Forest fundraiser for four days because of the rain and need the money. It's for a good cause.

And here's one about the Belarus elections:

Fire in America
Follow up to the last blog:
Less than a day after my last blog, my words became prophetic of the votes in the Senate. The DREAM Act wasn't passed and Don't Ask, Don't Tell was repealed. Both of those things were two things that I said should happen the day before and they did. However now there's another issue that needs to be addressed and that's North Korea. There's still tension on the Korean Peninsula and I'm not expecting it to go away. I have a gut feeling that something is going to happen in regards to that. Keep a close eye on that one people. Also there was another terror cell taken down in the United Kingdom. Yeah, we don't need TSA scanners. Pfft...give me a break. Been watching The Seeds of War: World War II with Walter Cronkite on Youtube. Fascinating stuff about everything that led to the war. I'm honestly waiting for history to repeat itself. It always does. Pearl Harbor was repeated on 9/11, Vietnam repeated in the Iraq War, Germany instigated two World Wars, and the Germans attacking Russia were yet another country that made the mistake of attacking that country during its harsh winter. Everything is going to blow over at some point and it's really going to hit the fan. I'm predicting it right now. The last time I made a prediction, 9/11 happened about three months later. Trust me, I can sense that something's going to trigger a big war in the very near future, meaning within the next two-to-three years.
Fuerza:
There's a new political movement started by a Hispanic preacher called the Fuerza movement. The whole premise of this group is to cater only to the needs of the Hispanics in this country on issues such as Immigration Reform. My whole problem with this is that the guy running it said in the news story that I saw that there's a racist anti-Hispanic vibe in this country. If that's the case, then why create a group that itself is reverse racist and only caters to one group or ethnic group? Wouldn't that only make the issue even more of an issue than it is now? I'm so sick of these people that fight racism with racism. Reality check. The people in this country don't want to work on Immigration Reform because LEGAL CITIZENS COME FIRST. HOW HARD IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND?! There's 15 million or so people out of work in this country including myself. We'll get to your issues eventually. Things like this will only turn people against you which isn't what you want at all. Just an observation.
Fire in America:
The fire in America that once burned brightly now has tapered off. Now you only see that fire only when people are protesting something, during elections, or when we get attacked. That's it. The only fire I see is in the eyes of the social activists who protest things. Speaking of that, I'm getting sick of protestors causing problems. Anytime they don't get their way, they protest instead of voting in elected officials who are only in their party and not necessarily the best fit for office. Both parties do it. That's why I vote for whomever is better for the job regardless of party affiliation. Honestly I lean toward free thinkers who have new ideas but also aren't going to put us in an even bigger economic hole then we are in now. In other words, I'm a Moderate Democrat but could also be considered a Reagan Democrat. The main reason for this is that I'm Conservative as far as spending goes but lean more toward the Democratic side on most issues unless it's an issue that's borderline Socialist or, in other words, is TOO liberal. There has to be a place where it stops. Don't Ask, Don't Tell I agree with but the DREAM Act I don't. I didn't like Obamacare either. Those are too extreme for me. However I did like how Bill Clinton worked with the Republicans to get things done. We need more of that, none of this 'Hope, Change' propaganda that I never bought into to begin with. All that was just propaganda to get Obama elected. I was for Hillary myself. She's WAY more of a moderate than Obama is. Obama said he wouldn't vote for the War in Iraq...how could we know what he would do? He wasn't even in the Senate when that vote took place! Like I said, it was all propaganda geared toward the college kids and the African Americans. Oprah started all that. It's more of this 'reverse-racism' that is going on at times in this country that I talked about earlier. It's all propaganda. Obama just told everyone what they wanted to hear and they had a fire in their eyes.
However I saw more of a fire after 9/11 happened. Everyone was pissed over what happened and it lit a fire long dormant in the heart of America. Now I see that the flame has died out since the elections of 2008. All those promises of 'Change' led to a rebellion from the voters. The Republicans took back control of Congress because 'Change' apparently means more out of control spending. If the idiots in this country didn't want more spending, then why in the hell did they elect the most liberal Senator in the Senate to be the President? That doesn't make sense. Americans are fed up with the spending and we, as a country, need to cut down on the spending and get ourselves out of the hole that we're in right now. If we wanted change, we should've elected John McCain and Sarah Palin. Sure, I know a lot of people would not like that, but it couldn't be any worse than it is now.
I live in Las Vegas and a report released on Monday said that we have the worst recovery rate for the economy in the nation. That has basically killed all chances of me getting a teaching job since there are no teaching jobs. This is a state that elected a convicted criminal to office here in Vegas. A convicted criminal! The woman was jailed in her youth and the people of this state elected her. What a joke of a state this is. They need to clean up Vegas. All these people that moved here need to go back to wherever they came from whether it be California, New York, Florida, Mexico, Texas...it doesn't matter. There's no jobs here, in a few years there will be no water here, and we're ranked near the bottom in every conceivable bad category there is. Go home and stay home. There's nothing for you here.
In order to get the fire back that was there after 9/11, this country needs more radical change. The top of the list is getting more jobs and fixing the economy. First off we need to reduce the spending. To do that the elected officials need to Ban All Earmarks for at least five years if not permanently. Second we need to beef up our military and border patrols. That will create more jobs. Thirdly we need to stop outsourcing and keep more jobs here. To go along with job creating, more money needs to be spent on alternative energy sources. This will also create more jobs. Thirdly there's a problem with jails being overcrowded. That's an easy fix. If we ever go to war, train the criminals and send them over there if they are in the right age range. That will create more jobs and fix the jail problems. Fourth is the border. I say we make a Great Wall like China did and that will eliminate any issue with the border as well as create more jobs. Fifth is reorganize the educational system in this country. We're falling behind the rest of the world and if we fix this, then America will be restored to its former glory. After World War II, it was us and the Russians. Nobody messed with us. Now China is ahead of us as are a few other nations. Change is needed and America needs that fire lit in our bellies once again. I hope it happens soon before its too late. Kids idolize Family Guy and play Grand Theft Auto. They want to be rappers and dancers when they grow up instead of firefighters and policemen. It's really a sad state of affairs. Back when I was in high school, at one point in my Honors History Class I was the only person who knew who Yassir Arafat was. Yeah, that's not good. We need Change and we need it quick otherwise the American Dream becomes the American Nightmare.
Football Playoff Predictions:
NFL Playoffs -
AFC: New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers
NFC: Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, winner of Packers/Giants week 16, winner of Rams/Seahawks week 17
Super Bowl: New England Patriots over Philadelphia Eagles
Lizzy Died:
Yeah, my lizard that I've had for literally almost half my life. Turns out Lizzy was 13 and probably died of old age since 15 years is the oldest Leopard Geckos live. She lasted longer than any dog I've ever had so the death hit me harder than I thought it would. Every time I look downstairs I look right at where her tank used to be. At least I'm not getting teary eyed anymore. I went to my friend Adam's Sportsbettors Christmas the following night and it totally made up for it. Got some HILARIOUS videos from there.

The State of the Nation
I think it's time for the Heel Heat again and this is going to be a political rant.
The State of the Nation:
Right now this country to me is becoming a second rate country very slowly but very much publicly too. Both the Republicans and the Democrats seem to only be about partisan agendas. The Republicans want to cut spending, which I agree with, but some of their methods in doing so are pretty bad. The Democrats don't seem to see the error of their ways. First they don't get why the country voted them out of office and then they continue to alienate people by doing the opposite of what they promise, which means not bringing any change and instead doing more of the same. The Tea Party is even worse than either political party. They are just as big of elitists as some of the Democrats are.
Now let me go into this stating that all three political groups are getting on my nerves and the smaller political parties are mostly more extreme versions of bigger groups. There needs to be a moderate movement that works with both parties instead of voting along party lines like most of these 'Yes Men and Women' do. Now let me give the country a blueprint as to how to fix our country. Firstly the Democrats need to stop pandering to every demographic group because it's hurting them big time. A prime example is the DREAM Act. Dems, if you would start worrying about the LEGAL citizens of this country first then you wouldn't have lost that many seats in Congress in the last election. Legal citizens should come first IN ALL ISSUES, PERIOD. Secondly the Health Care Bill aka Obamacare is a mistake and it's going to cause more financial issues which will cause more problems than are fixed in the actual bill. Thirdly Obama is all talk which is what I said back in 2008 when Hillary Clinton, who should be the President now. The whole Obama thing can be blamed on Oprah and college aged liberals. His whole "Change" message was a lie. It was all propaganda to get elected. The only thing they have done that I agree with is repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." The Chinese have a million people in their army and I have this feeling we'll need to get a bigger military to compete with them if there is a major war breaking out in the near future.
That said, the Republicans are just as bad. They claim to be different from the Democrats but they are just as hypocritical. They were the ones who started with the war in Iraq that didn't need to happen to begin with as well as dergulating the financial firms which led us to economic ruin. I wish some of the people in the past regime had done some historical checking before going into that war because if they did, they would realize that any nation that got into a war on two fronts has lost. The last big example of this was Nazi Germany back in World War 2. They fought on two fronts at once and lost. Luckily we're out of Iraq now but still are having issues in Afghanistan which should've been taken care of before we even got into Iraq. Plus the fact that they passed the legislation that led to Wall Street crumbling and started the Recession makes them only a better option than the Dems due to wanting to decrease spending. Decreased spending is something I'm for one hundred percent because adding to the deficit is just going to make things worse.
Now I bet there's some people out there who think that there's no way any of this is true. Reality check, it is. Illegals get better treatment than some of the actual citizens in this country. There's some of them getting free health care right now and the Dems want to pass the DREAM Act?! PLEASE. Maybe Arizona had it right after all but then again maybe they didn't. The first thing that needs to go is the law that ANY baby born in the US, even if both parents are illegal, is a citizen. As far as I'm concerned, one parent has to be legal for the child to be considered a legal citizen. They repeal that law and there goes the illegal immigration problem. Also I'm glad they're finally cracking down on business who hire illegals. If they eliminated all of the illegal hires, then the unemployment would be six-seven percent tops and citizens like me who are unemployed would have work.
Let me guess. I'm going to be called a racist for saying all that and probably by the same people who think that the shows 16 & Pregnant and The Biggest Loser are a fine example of what America is about. Right now America is falling apart. People seem to care more about what is happening on pointless shows such as The Jersey Shore than what is going on in their own country. These are probable the same people who bitch about the airport scanners. There are Muslim Extremists out there who want to be martyrs and they're worrying about scanners. Would you rather them fly another plane into a building like they did on 9/11? No? I thought not. And if anyone says that it's all propaganda "to put fear in the country" then they are dead wrong. They are still out there and they are basically Muslims versions of the aforementionned Nazis. The difference is they have no nation, no borders, and are out to kill non-Muslims instead of specific ethnic groups. They also seem to like blowing stuff up including themselves. To me they are the biggest cowards on the planet since they don't fight like men. Terrorists are out there to cause terror and nothing else. Until these terrorist networks are destroyed then attacks or attempted attacks, much like the one in Stockholm this week, will continue to happen.
Another problem starter is Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks. He wants to hold governments accountable by releasing their secret information and documents to the world but yet is hypocritical for doing it since all it's doing is create more friction between countries. That isn't good for anybody especially with all of the problems in the world. The fact that the Director of the website a former hacker and the fact that hackers are hacking websites that decided not to have anything to do with Wikileaks. Free Speech is fine but when it causes problems then it's an issue. In short, all Wikileaks is doing is instigating things and causing problems which is how things get out of hand. Speaking of which, North Korea shelled South Korea not too long ago. The Korean Peninsula is unstable as is parts of Asia and Africa.
This country needs actual change, not promises of it. The parties need to quit voting along party line and start working together. If they don't, it's just going be more of the same for years to come. Earmarks are another thing. The liars in both parties are putting them in bills and it's just not right. All the politicians do is lie just to get elected and then do the opposite once they get into office. The whole system is a joke. If they're not careful, the Chinese are going to take over. In fact, they've already started. Economically they have more power than we do. We're a fading superpower that is losing its influence over the rest of the world. What scares me the most is that Nostradamus predicted three Antichrists and by my count there's only been two. That leaves on left.
This has a lot to do with what I'm talking about because there's one more tyrannical sociopath left to appear on the world stage and he's been right about the first two so far. The first one was Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France who started the Napoleonic Wars. The second one was Adolf Hitler who started World War 2 and tried to exterminate a whole race of people. The third one is yet to come and I fear that he will come in our lifetime. Prophecies similar to his have come from many psychics and been recorded in many books, most notably the Book of Revelation in the Bible. Now imagine if some radical maniac takes over a world power and starts some chaos. Look at how World War 2 started. It started with a depression and then in Germany there was a gradual takeover of he government by a radical political party that was telling everyone what they wanted to hear. Look at how that turned out. History could repeat itself and it probably will. Honestly I halfway expect the world to end up resembling the DC Wasteland in Fallout 3 within the next twenty years.
That said, this is the time for there to be change in America. Not false promises of change. I also believe it's time to stop allowing adoptions of foreign born children. We have enough foster children in this country that need good homes. Instead liberal celebrities are getting adopted children from Africa, Haiti, and other foreign countries. Speaking of that, celebrities are the biggest phonies of them all. They're all about saving the world and yet they forget so easily about their own country. Oprah is the biggest phony of them all. Opening up a school for girls in Africa instead of using that money to help education in the US during a Recession is a prime example of what I'm talking about. America needs fixing first, the rest of the world can come later.
Now I've been thinking about it and I have a plan how to fix this country before it goes even more down the toilet.
This is what needs to happen:
1. Tax cuts and tax breaks should remain for all Americans.
2. Taxes and sales taxes should only be in place to pay for state and government services/jobs. If special taxes are used to fund special projects, such as building stadiums or big freeway projects, then the taxes should end when the project is finished.
3. Compromise between the far-left and the far-right as well as the more traditional Liberals and Conservatives. This is the only way that things are going to get done. If there is no compromise, then both parties show that they are hypocrites.
4. Enact laws that help the actual citizens of America first, not illegals or foreign countries. American citizens come first.
5. Repeal the Fourteenth Amendment. Then do permanent Immigration Reform and fix the issue permanently.
6. Health Care needs to be overhauled. Obamacare is clearly not the answer. Lower health care costs for all legal citizens and insurance companies need to be regulated on a more extreme scale.
7. The only things that should have increased budgets are national security and defense departments as well as transportation and infrastructure departments as well. Infrastructure and defense should be top priorities.
8. Cutting the National Debt should be a priority. Out of control spending and earmarks need to be eliminated permanently.
9. Corrupt politicians who break the law, such as taking money or using political contributions for their own means, will be punished for their actions and not just given a slap to the wrist. More accountability is needed.
10. Education needs to be the top of the agenda. We're losing ground to countries all over the world and there's no reason for it to be happening. Education should be a priority instead of getting funding cut.
11. To go along with this, History needs to become more prominent in classrooms at an early age. Children now days care more about video games and movies than they do about the history of this country. Now, instead of learning about the past, they go back what's happening presently. That's a major issue that needs to be addressed.
12. We need more patriotism in this country. I don't see patriotism as much as in the past.
13. Rebuilding the middle class will be the key to fixing the economy.
14. Tax breaks for companies that keep jobs in the United States and increased taxes for companies that outsource overseas thus costing jobs here in the states.
15. More funding to help shelter and find jobs for the poor. Creating more jobs is also a key to fixing the economy.
16. Anyone who wants to buy a gun must pass a psychological evaluation first. Along with this anyone who gets Welfare checks or Unemployment benefits must pass a Random Monthly Drug Tests in order to get payment.
17. Anyone wanting a Visa, a Passport, or a Green Card to get into the United States must pass a criminal background check. Anyone arrested for a major crime who is illegal or has an expired status on any of their documentation will be deported to their country of origin.
18. Pass 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' which will immediately increase the armed forces. Plus it's something that can bring together people in both parties.
19. Making more environmental preserves for endangered species and to protect them from being used unnecissarily for resources. Also working on new energy solutions so that foreign countries can use oil anymore to control us and our decision making during foreign policy measures.
20. A strong central government is needed to keep the peace. Increased funding for police and fire departments as well as park rangers and national guards.
That is what I could think of for now but I could add to this and probably will.
