-Josh Matthews in the ring and Randy Orton comes out. Orton says he wont get DQ'd and there's more than one way for him to beat Christian. Says Christian knows he can't beat him. Christian on the tron. Says he wants to put on a great match and then shows that he got Orton a framed picture of him standing over Orton with the world title. Orton says not even a stupid picture can piss him off and calls this attempt pathetic. Christian then runs down his family, says his father is a joke of a Hall of Famer, and then calls Orton pathetic. Orton wants him in the ring now so he can say it to his face. Christian says he'll do it next week on Smackdown after he beats him on Sunday. Orton rips into Christian for being Edge's lackey and says on Sunday he'll take care of Christian. I liked this a lot.-Rundown of the Mark Henry/Big Show feud.
-Intercontinental Championship, Ezekiel Jackson vs. Ted DiBiase, Jr.:
Ted slaps Jackson. Jackson on the rampage. Ted knocked out to the floor. Ted rammed into the apron. Jackson rammed into the post and dropkick by Ted. Russian leg sweep by Ted. Ted in control. Comeback by Jackson. Body slams by Jackson. Human Torture Rack by Jackson wins it. This was not good.
-Ted DiBiase backstage runs into Cody Rhodes. Ted says he tried and Cody hands him a bag. He tells him to put it on, says it's for losers, and changes his mind before giving him one more chance. Cody says if Ted loses one more match he will personally put the bag over Ted's head. He then puts the bag on some random guy's head.
-Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan:
Great pre-match video setting up Rhodes/Bryan. Bryan with a corner attack. Cody escapes the LaBell Lock. Kick attack and running dropkick by Bryan. Suicide dive by Bryan. Front suplex by Cody. Cody in control. Single leg crab by Cody. Comeback by Bryan. Jawbreaker and leaping knee by Bryan. Alabama Slam by Cody. Lots of counters by both men. Missile dropkick by Bryan. Running dropkick by Bryan. Springboard kick by Cody wins it. This was really good.
-Teddy Long backstage on the phone and tells a ref that both Mark Henry and Big Show are to be told if there is any physicality their match is off. Kane shows up and thanks him for giving him Orton this week. Says monsters don't lose to anybody and this is about him. He doesn't know why he doesn't seem like a monster.
-Jinder Mahal getting mad at a photographer during a photoshoot.
-Christian at Randy Orton's private bus. Someone vandalized Orton's bus, Christian says he'll find out who did because he cares.
-Sheamus vs. Sin Cara:
Wade Barrett on commentary. Spinning headscissors by Sin Cara. Dropkick and kicks by Sin Cara. Twisting armdrag by Sin Cara. Irish Curse backbreaker by Sheamus. Spinning headscissors by Sin Cara. Clubbing forearms and a running knee on the apron by Sheamus. Sheamus in control. Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick and falls out to the floor. Running low dropkick by Sin Cara. Corner powerslam by Sheamus. Fallaway Slam by Sheamus. Frankensteiner into a pin by Sin Cara wins it. Win came out of nowhere. Sheamus is mad and Barrett sneaks in with a Big Boot. Wasteland by Barrett. This was okay but I like how Barrett wanted revenge at the end.
-Christian with a wallet he found backstage and it's Randy Orton's wallet. He's in the casino. He finds money in it. He's by the craps tables, makes some comments about Orton's daughter, and he loses it on his first bet. Tells Orton it looks like his luck just ran out.
-Teddy Long in the ring for the Big Show/Mark Henry forum. If they touch each other the match is off. Henry is on the stage and says he's not coming closer before he loses his temper. Show says he's going to destroy him. Henry says all of his pain is his fault and shows a video of Show ambushing and beating up Henry. Show says for 15 years everyone has been waiting for Henry to wake up before taking credit for Henry's recent success and Henry says stronger and meaner is better and better is better. Now they want to fight. Long gets them to stop and says to save it for Sunday. A LOT better than I was expecting.
-Kelly Kelly vs. Rosa Mendes:
Roll up by Kelly. Fists of fire by Rosa. Neckbreaker by Kelly. Stinkface by Kelly. Bulldog by Kelly wins it. Blah.
-Johnny Curtis backstage. He says the cat is out of the bag and instead pulls an elephant out of the bag. He gets mad at his sidekick and rips it up.
-Money in the Bank match rundown.
-Christian backstage. Says he's a fan of Orton, says he's a movie star, and shows a deleted scene that shows Orton's true talent. He shows a scene and then pauses it. He says Orton is a bad actor and then rips into Orton again.
-Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater:
Slater has a mic says they were on top of the world as a tag team, says Gabriel has been dropping the ball, and Money in the Bank is his time to shine. Fast paced chain wrestling. More fast paced action. Slater in control. Top rope backdrop by Slater. Slater misses a moonsault. 450 splash by Gabriel wins it. This was ok.
-Randy Orton vs. Kane:
Starts off with a fist fight. Big Boot by Kane. Sidewalk Slam by Kane. Christian comes out. Flying clothesline by Kane. Clotheslines and scoop powerslam by Orton. Rope Hung DDT by Orton. Orton distracted by Christian and Kane clotheslines him and they both fall out to the floor. Orton sees Christian and chases him. Christian tosses water at him and Orton loses by countout. Orton still chasing Christian and Kane ambushes Orton. RKO by Orton to Kane but a Spear by Christian. Christian gets the world title and a chair. Orton gets the chair and Christian runs off. Orton hits Kane with the chair viciously. He stares down Christian to end the show. Didn't like the main event at all. Even the aftermatch was blah.
-Overall this was the second sub-par Smackdown in three weeks. Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan were excellent as usual but nothing else really stood out. Not a good show at all especially coming into a pay-per-view weekend.
