WWE Top 50 Stars of All Time DVD Review

This is the Heel Heat Review of the WWE Top 50 Stars of All Time DVD.

-Opening video is pretty cool.

-50. Killer Kowalski: Kowalski looks like an axe murderer in this video and the highlights make him seem like a monster. Lots of legends talking about him.

-49. Batista: Video makes Batista look like a beast. This was shorter than I was expecting.

-48. Rick Rude: Rude ripping on the fans was great. The comments about Rude's character and persona from the wrestlers is great.

-47. Bob Backlund: Backlund really should be higher but that's just my opinion. Great footage of his matches. ANTONIO INOKI!

-46. Dory Funk, Jr.: Really glad he made it on the list. Like the old footage. Like how they used ECW footage too.

-45. Jeff Hardy: Didn't expect to see him on here. Interesting comments about him. Good job with the highlights of him.

-44. Nick Bockwinkle: Another guy I'm glad to see made it on the list. Really nice comments about him and the match footage was great too. HONKY TONK MAN!

-43. Kane: Kane definitely deserves to be on here. Cena is right, he is the most underrated superstar ever in the WWE. I've always been a fan.

-42. Sgt. Slaughter: More great old footage. Talk about Sarge being both a good and bad guy. Sarge's Iraqi gimmick...awesome.

-41. Jack Brisco: Great talk about Jack Brisco and his in-ring style. More good video footage.

-40. Big Show: I like the footage and comments about Show.

-39. Jake Roberts: Great talk about Jake inventing the DDT. More good footage.

-38. "Superstar" Billy Graham: His wardrobe and promos were very unique. This was good. KEN PATERA! Graham was the first character that main event.

-37. Junkyard Dog: More great footage. He was very charismatic and that was his strong point.

-36. Gorilla Monsoon: Gorilla wrestling footage was awesome to see. MUHAMMED ALI! His commentary work was excellent.
-35. Buddy Rogers: Buddy he was the first Nature Boy. Love the old footage.

-34. Kurt Angle: Glad to see Kurt on here. The comments about his work are great. They really put him over well.

-33. Mick Foley: The footage of him was great. They made a lot of good comments about him too. Loved seeing his first World Title win and the Hell in a Cell spot.

-32. Jimmy Snuka: Lots of great talk about Snuka. The steel cage jump was one of the greatest moments ever.

-31. Iron Sheik: Sheik was one of the greatest villains of all time.

-30. Pat Patterson: Lots of legends talking about him. They really put him over.

-29. Randy Orton: Cena really puts him over. They make Orton seem like a huge deal. I think he's a little too high on the list but that's just me.

-28. Freddie Blassie: Blassie was one of the original villains in wrestling. Blassie was even better as a manager.

-27. The Fabulous Moolah: Moolah is the greatest women's wrestler of all time. Glad to see her on the list.

-26. Ted DiBiase: Million Dollar Man was a legend. DiBiase was really good in his time. STEVE WILLIAMS!

-25. Chris Jericho: Thank God Jericho was ahead of Orton and made the list. Jericho has it all.

-24. Bruno Sammartino: They made Bruno seem like a real legend.

-23. Hulk Hogan: Hulk is lower than I expected. Lots of great talk about the Hulkster. He was the biggest draw ever.

-22. Terry Funk: Huh? This high on the list? Lots of good footage of him. Funk was a wild man back in the day. Lawler said Terry was the best of all time.

-21. Lou Thesz: Larry Hennig says Thesz is the best all time. More great old footage.

-20. Jerry Lawler: Lawler was the bad ass of Memphis. Lawler has won more championships than anyone in wrestling. Making King seem like a big deal.

-19. Edge: Are you kidding me? Seriously...NO WAY he should be this high. Maybe #40 or so but not higher than the last 5 guys. Striker does make a point about Edge/Taker at Mania but his constant turns ruined him for me.

-17. Dusty Rhodes: Dusty was one of the best ever. His promos were amazing. Great comments about him.

-17. Ric Flair: This low on the list? Huh? This is a headscratcher. Flair was one of the top five of all time. The wrestlers put him over but there's something wrong with a list where Flair isn't in the top eight MINIMUM.

-16. John Cena: Not surprised by this at all. They did a good job with the Cena part and his ranking should honestly be 4 or 5 spots higher.

-15. Mr. Perfect: WOW. I'm VERY happy to see him this high. Great footage about him.

-14. Randy Savage: Savage higher than Hogan? YES, there is justice after all. Lots of great comments about the best there ever was. Macho Man is my all time favorite wrestler.

-13. Gorgeous George: Not surprised to see him this high. He was the original flamboyant wrestler. DICK" THE DESTROYER" BEYER! That's a name from the past. George was, I believe, the first metrosexual. He was a major trendsetter.

-12. Triple-H: At least he's not number one which surprises me. The wrestlers really put over Trips' ring skills and ring psychology.

-11. Eddie Guerrero: I think this spot is a little high to be honest. Really liked the match footage in this section. They did a good job making him seem like a huge deal.

-10. Roddy Piper: This makes me really happy. Piper was the original mouth in wrestling. Piper's charisma was great. Piper was such a great heel and a major trendsetter as far as talking and Piper's Pit goes.

-9. Rey Mysterio: He is probably the greatest luchadore ever but this is a little high for him. Rey over Piper? Come on. They make him seem like a big deal which is good. Jericho says he's Rey's biggest fan and they put him over huge.

-8. Andre the Giant: Nice to see Andre up so high. He's even higher than Hogan and Savage. They make Andre out to be a huge deal. Glad they talked about Mania III on here.

-7. Ricky Steamboat: Lots of love for The Dragon. Like the love for Steamboat/Savage and the arm drags. Ricky was one of the best ever. Jericho puts him over big too.

-6. Harley Race: This is a pleasant surprise. They make him seem like he was the man and he was.

-5. The Rock: Lower than I was expecting him to be. Rock was one of the best talkers ever. Liked they talked about Rock/Hogan. Lots of good comments about Rock. GREG VALENTINE! Rock was the best entertainer ever, I agree.

-4. Bret Hart: Bret was one of the best technical wrestlers ever. Bret could have a good match with anybody. They really make him seem like a huge deal.

-3. Steve Austin: My personal favorite character ever. Great footage from his career. Austin was in some epic feuds. Austin was the guy who got a lot of people back into wrestling and was one of the top wrestlers of all time.
-2. The Undertaker: Taker is made to be a huge deal as he rightfully should be. They make his record to be untouchable and talk about his in-ring skills. They also put him over huge which is great.

-1. Shawn Michaels: Shawn gets made out to be the best. Everyone on the DVD puts him over huge. This was really good. Jericho says no one is even close to HBK.
